Week #1 – Demolition & Shopping…

 

Week #2 – Power tools and Spackling…

I soooo prefer demolition, but did have fun using Jim’s big power tools, and shopping (of course)!!!

If I never see another spackling tool, I will be so grateful. Spackling is an art, I could not quite master. I’d rather remove 1000 nails dug deep into plywood, over joint compounding little holes in walls, any day.

This weekend brings on paint, and lots of it! 

Week #3 – Fabulous furnishing has begun…

It’s all coming together! A dream I never knew I wanted, but now I can’t imagine not having. 

 

Made exclusively by Simmons, for Four Seasons … & now Between 2 Beaches.

We are thrilled to announce that we have decided to upgrade and furnish our 2 private bedroom suites, and the loft with new queen beds.  That way if 3 couples decide to stay, or you just want a good queen sized bed, we now have 3 Queen beds, with tons of pillows and comfy sheets!  

MARCH 5th…

It’s been 1 month, almost 5 weeks actually… and Chip and Joanna… I mean Jim and Joanne, of Between 2 Beaches, are excited to debut the almost complete, amazing front bedroom and master bath.

We searched high and low, and all around for fabulous one of a kind treasures, and just wonderful things to furnish these 2 rooms. We believe we have created a cozy and relaxing space to unwind, and have an amazing nights sleep.

 

 

 

 

MARCH 18th…

We are almost at the 8 week mark of renovations! Our goal was to be done by April 13th.  Not quite certain how Chip and Joanna do it (actually I do)… but I am proud to say we Jim and I are DOING it!

With the help of some amazing friends and family, we are excited to debut the fabulous back bedroom, and master bath. Jim built the one of a kind headboard (gotta love IKEA door cabinets), and I found more wonderful things to furnish these 2 rooms.

We believe we have created another cozy and relaxing space to unwind, and have an amazing nights sleep.

Just outside of the bedroom on the 2nd floor landing, we have a bookshelf full of fun games for all ages! 

 

 

April 26th…

So we are not Chip and Joanna, and did not complete it all in 12 weeks.  We are now in our 13th week… and 14 is now our lucky number!  Our first guests arrive end of next week, and we are having a blast now with all the fabulous finishing touches and doing what I like to do best… shop and decorate!

Friday, May 4th…

It took us 94 days, 17 hours, and 20 minutes to finish renovating Between 2 Beaches.

Our 1st guests arrived 20 minutes after the last picture was hung.

We did it!!! 🌊
